Wordpress introduces VaultPress

WordPress is widely recognized as the most most powerful blog hosting platform available, but the seemingly never-ending security updates and backups required in order to keep a WordPress blog up and running make it a hassle at times.

In an effort to end those frustrations once and for all, WordPress has just announced a brand new service which promises to completely eliminate those headaches from your blogging experience. VaultPress was designed from the ground up to completely automate every aspect of securing and backing up a WordPress blog.

The service automatically backs up all of the core WordPress files, the themes, the plugins and all images associated with a WordPress installation. What’s more, WordPress security fixes are installed automatically as well. In a nutshell, VaultPress takes the hassle out of maintaining your blog so can can spend 100% of your time doing what bloggers do best: blogging!

VaultPress is still in beta as I write this, and Matt and company invite you to take part in the beta program for free. Interested? Click here for more information and to apply to participate in the beta program.
